Baits with promo then takes it away upon delivery
I placed a new customer order using the new customer 50% off promo code "fifty" with an expiration date of July 31. My order was confirmed via my online account and via an email from Schwan's showing the 50% off.
I received an email saying welcome new customer and here's your exclusive offer of 50% off and the promo code fifty2 and expiration date May 22. Since this is a different code, different expiration date, "exclusive offer" and the number 2 at the end it appears to be to be another 50% offer I can redeem. So I did. I placed a second order and used my new "exclusive offer" promo code. My second order was confirmed via online account and an email from Schwan's showing the 50% off.
When the delivery guy comes to my home he refuses to allow the "fifty2" 50% off promo code to apply, so I refuse the second order. I call Schwan's. The rep tells me that if something is not allowed the Schwan's website will not allow it so the second code should have been accepted. He tells me he is referring this to someone and they will call me within 2 days. I receive no call from Schwan's.
My conclusion is that Schwan's baited me and hoped I would take the order anyway after the delivery person took away the promo and now they don't want to talk to me because they know they did wrong. I could be a good customer but I am only a good customer to companies who are good to me.

Order never arrived
First time customer. I submitted my order on 3/27 and got confirmation that it would be delivered on 3/29 between 5-8 pm.
I even called to confirm the order and delivery this morning around 11am. It never arrived. I took a screenshot of the order (fortunately) that confirmed that it should have been delivered today.
When I logged back in they had changed the delivery date to 4/11 without contacting me at all. This is horrible.

Dishonest driver
Cando, ND driver sold me a tub of frozen yogurt...charged me $9.00
got home and went online...it was only 5.99
Complained to Schwans and weeks later no manager has contacted me.

Wonderful
The food is above store bought foods and the price is fair when you consider the quality and the sales and bulk items to assist in lowering costs. Real eggs in ice cream.
"Natural" ingredients. You are what you eat and before you put artificial food in your body, maybe you should think of long term results of eating only God knows what?

Expiration dates
I have been buying from Schwans for over 20 years.
I buy in bulk.
Lately, I have noticed there are not expiration dates on ice cream, etc.
I have been tasting some very old ice cream, all crystals. Especially the vanilla ice cream in the 1 1/2 gal sizes.
I need an explanation as to why?
Use to be a born on date, why no more?
I am getting upset, due to the fact I have to have a minimum of a hundred words. This is even more insane. I do not have time to keep counting my words to add up to a 100 words.

Tired of different driver every time!
We had a great driver for about 2 months. Now there is a different one every time and they do not honor our requests to enter through garage and give us time to get to the door.
We are both handicapped and it is time-consuming to get to the door so they often leave without delivering our order. I am ready to cancel for good but I really like many of the products!

Baited with 50% off promo that deliverer would not honor
I placed an order with 50% off promo code “fifty”. When I checked my email I had confirmation of my order and a second email welcoming me as a new customer giving me “an exclusive offer” that was a second 50% off promo code “fifty2”.
I placed a second order using this new promo code and it was applied. I received a second email confirming my second order with this second promo code applied.
When my items were delivered the driver refused to honor the second promo code. Not exactly bait and switch but, minimum, shady.
Delivery Fee is Absurd
The service is fine by the delivery person, however, I completely disagree with the delivery fee since you are in town delivering anyways. You are a delivery food truck so why is a delivery fee charged?
The people are being taken advantage of by being charged this fee. The Schwan's truck is already in town and stops by without us even requesting the service, but yet if we choose to order something less than $25.00, a delivery fee is charged.
What a scam! Schwan's needs to stop by greedy and drop the delivery fee, especially since they are just doing their job and nothing extra.

Bate you with promo then take it away
Every time I order from Schwan's there's always an item left off my order it's not in the truck if the promo says you need to spend $25 to save $5 I'll spend probably $30.00 just to get that $5 off my order then when the delivery guy finally decides to show up there's an item missing therefore I I forfeit my promo code because my order automatically goes under $25 then they try to come back in three or four weeks with that item they left off the truck the first time and charge you for it this has been happening on every delivery when I try to use the promo code to get somebody off there's always something that's not on the truck that I've ordered I wouldn't call it a bait and switch but something they're doing is Shady I will not be ordered from Schwan's Foods delivery service ever again

My last delivery date my Schwan's representative was late but they had a good reason to be. I was to get another delivery tonight and my page on the website said it was to be delivered between 5-8 PM.
Well it was after 9 PM when I spoke with a live representative online. That person said it was to come on another date but the website page still had the 5th and between 5-8 PM. I was never told the reason for the date change nor was I even informed of the date change until I spoke to that representative. They have just lost a customer due to their lack of customer consideration and service.
They could've at least sent an email stating the reason they needed to change the date. that would've been considerate.
Their nonchalant attitude about it too came across as rude and uncaring about their customers. I would think twice before using their company and I know due to what happened, I never will again!

Way too fast
When i was driving through my neighborhood, a Schwans truck was speeding through, then i saw him going down another road speeding. Very fast.
The speed limit is 35... there are kids all around in this neighborhood.
Chicken breast
I have bought this chicken for years, but the quality is horrible. It is not the chicken I purchased in the past. I will buy it again.

$3.99 delivery fee on all sales not done online or less than $49.99 at the door. Driver was not dishonest, but should have at least mentioned the fee.
